Tessera4x4 Warranty
Tessera4x4 Accessories provides the original purchaser with a 3-year warranty for all its products when purchased from authorized resellers or distributors.
Electrical/Electronic parts: Covered by a 1-year warranty.
Warranty Activation: To validate the warranty, the customer must register their product through the official Warranty Registration form on our website (Warranty Registration) within 30 days of purchase, uploading the proof of purchase. Without this registration, the warranty is not valid.
What the Warranty Covers
- Replacement or repair of any component found to be defective in materials or workmanship.
- Replacement is provided free of charge for the product (shipping costs, duties, or any additional costs are excluded).
Limitations & Exclusions from Authorized Reseller
This warranty does not cover:
- Incorrect or improper installation not in accordance with Tessera4x4 installation manuals.
- Use outside specifications or failure to follow installation/maintenance instructions.
- Failure to follow the usage and maintenance instructions provided in the owner’s manual of each product. Proper use and regular maintenance according to the manual are a prerequisite for the validity of this warranty.
- Extreme environmental conditions (below -15°C or above 40°C).
- Water intrusion resulting from normal use.
- Modifications, tampering, or unauthorized repairs.
- Misuse, abuse, poor maintenance, or negligence.
- Normal wear and tear (fading, scratches, corrosion).
- Damage caused by the use of inappropriate or harsh chemical cleaning products.
- This warranty does not extend in any respect to accessories or parts not produced by Tessera4x4 accessories and shall not extend to any consequential or incidental damages.
- This warranty is expressly in lieu of all other warranties expressed or implied, including the warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose and of all other obligations or liabilities on the part of Tessera4x4 accessories.
- Damage caused by failure to properly or adequately secure cargo during product use.
- Damage caused by accidents, fire, flood, earthquake, or other acts of God.
- Tessera4x4 accessories neither assume nor authorize any other person to assume for it any other liability in connection with the sale of its products.
- Tessera4x4 accessories does not warrant any products purchased from unauthorized resellers.
HOW TO CLAIM
To make a claim under this warranty, the party claiming must notify the dealer from whom the product was purchased about the defect or malfunction. Before taking any action, such as replacing, repairing, or returning a product, it is very important that the necessary supporting materials and information are first provided to the dealer and/or Tessera4x4 accessories. This allows the issue to be properly evaluated and helps avoid unnecessary delays.
The warranty claim should include the following information:
- Clear photos showing the product and the reported issue.
- Videos, where applicable, demonstrating the malfunction or defect.
- The product serial number.
- Proof of purchase.
- A detailed description of the issue experienced by you or your customer.
- Vehicle model and installation details, if relevant.
- Any additional information requested by the dealer or Tessera4x4 accessories during the evaluation process.
The dealer will inspect the product and consult Tessera4x4 accessories in order to determine whether the issue is covered under warranty. No replacement, repair, or return should take place before the warranty claim has been reviewed and approved.
If the part or parts are found to be defective due to materials or workmanship, the replacement part or parts will be provided free of charge. Shipping costs, duties, installation costs, labor costs, or any additional costs are excluded.
Tessera4x4 accessories maintains the highest possible standards of manufacturing and quality control. Accordingly, it expects its dealers to adhere to a similar standard when installing its products and supporting this warranty.
